Nieuwegein

What are you going to do?

Freetime Hospitality is a hospitality company and is looking for experienced C# .NET developers. Our software development department currently consists of an internationaal ‘Scrum’ team. The team comprises C# .NET developers, PHP developers, Front-end developers, Testers and a Product Owner.

You are involved in writing (partial) applications and maintaining, improving and making the current application scalable. There are several challenging projects on our priority list.

We are continuously improving and expanding our VIPS CloudPMS application. Think of automating Payments or a check-in/check-out procedure, expanding CORE functionalities such as multi-language, improving back-end, linking with partners through our OPEN API, and converting the current functions into a modular microservice environment. The basis is always having good quality code and an optimal working method. The goal is to work and improve as a team.

You work in a scrum team with which you determine the priorities together with the Product Owners.

In consultation with the Product Owner, you provide all the necessary documentation and knowledge that you need to carry out the case or project. If necessary, you consult with the stakeholders to collect the right information. Together with the Product Owner and Front-end development & designers, you also provide the right mock-ups and visualizations.  When all the information is available, you get to work with the team, make the right documentation and the cases for the upcoming sprint are scheduled. You work in four-weekly sprints and the goal is to complete the jointly planned cases as a team at the end of the sprint. For each sprint, the planned cases are ‘ranked’ [high-low split] and at the end of the sprint you evaluate together with the team how everything went.

What do we offer?

  • A position with substance, freedom, responsibility and career opportunities.
  • Good conditions: competitive salary, 24 vacation days and appropriate allowances. We also think about your old age: you’ll be eligible for a collective pension scheme.
  • A place within an enthusiastic, growing organization where the ambience and team spirit are essential. Where you get the space to learn, including trial and error, everyone shares knowledge with each other and memorable company outings are the norm.
  • Everything you need to perform your task properly, including: sit and stand desk, enough breaks and coffee.
  • Attention to personal development.
  • Having lunch together with your colleagues every day; you can leave your own sandwiches at home!
  • Working in an international environment.
